Below it, a buckeye leaf-and-nut motif acts as a visual hinge before the "BUCKEYES" ribbon. The lower register holds an architectural rendering of Ohio Stadium, "EST. 1870", and the words TRADITION, EXCELLENCE, BROTHERHOOD set in calm, centered stacks. Crystal-cut highlights and gilded scrollwork fill the ground with rhythm rather than noise, while deep scarlet and near-black keep tonal contrast sharp. The handle continues the language with its own ribbon reading "BUCKEYE NATION FOREVER".
