Design Story

The focal panel is a shield reading COLUMBUS CREW with the C and 96 centered inside a laurel wreath, framed by stars and column motifs. Below it sits a stadium illustration and a LOWER.COM FIELD nameplate, then a lower banner carrying OUR CITY / OUR CREW / OUR HOME above a skyline and a single football. Black and gold do the heavy lifting; the checkered yellow flashes at the sides and handle wrap break the symmetry just enough to keep the eye moving. Everything is stacked vertically, crest high, message low, which is exactly how a reading hierarchy should behave.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette, that vertical stacking is the whole trick. The crest lands at eye level where the hand does not cover it, the wraparound ornament carries the pattern around the back, and the handle panel repeats the C badge as a small secondary mark. Carry presence is high without shouting: dark base, warm accent, tight negative space around the shield.
