The first thing the eye finds is the interlocking LA monogram, set dead center on a cream focal panel and outlined in gold. Everything else on the tumbler arranges itself politely around it.
Design Story
Above the monogram, LOS ANGELES arcs in spaced capitals. Below it, the Dodgers script runs its long underline tail across the lower third of the panel, the kind of typographic gesture that has never needed updating. Two engraved-looking palm trees flank the mark, and behind them a faint skyline sits in the cream ground like a watermark. Lower on the wrap, the composition darkens into deep blue with fine gold linework, and a small plaque carries EST. 1958, a list of championship years, and a numbered edition line. The palette is disciplined throughout: cream, navy, warm gold. Nothing shouts.
Use & Experience
On a vertical drinkware silhouette, that hierarchy reads perfectly. The cream panel occupies the upper half at eye level, so the monogram lands as the visual anchor from across a room, while the dark lower band gives the shape visual weight and grounds the whole wrap. The blue handle and lid pick up the artwork's darkest tone, closing the loop between graphic and object.
