Some drinkware carries a logo. This one carries a crest. The whole vessel reads like an engraved commemorative object, built around a single navy focal panel and framed in warm antique gold.
Design Story
The composition is strictly vertical and symmetrical. A banner reading HOUSTON ASTROS arches beneath a crowned finial, then drops into a circular medallion holding the orange star and white H. Fluted columns flank the medallion on both sides, laurel leaves fill the lower corners, and a plaque reading EST. 1962 HOUSTON, TEXAS sits above crossed bats and a stitched baseball. Deep navy does the heavy lifting; gold handles all the linework and ornament; orange appears only where it counts. That restraint is why the crest holds together instead of turning into noise.
Use & Experience
On a tumbler silhouette the design uses its height well. The crown detail sits high near the lid, the medallion lands at natural eye level as the front-facing anchor, and the base ornament closes the wraparound composition. The navy handle reads as a quiet structural counterweight to all that gold detailing. Loud enough to be a statement piece on a desk, ordered enough to carry anywhere.
