The eye lands on the letter first. A deep red B, framed in gold and set against a fan of radiating lines, sits at the centre of the tumbler like a medallion mounted on a display case. Everything else on the surface is arranged to serve it.

Design Story

The composition reads as a vertical altarpiece. Above the emblem, EST. 1901 anchors the top of the panel; below it, BOSTON, RED SOX, FENWAY PARK and THE PRIVATE CLUB descend in tightening type, closing on a small pair of red socks. Flanking columns carry baseball stitching in deep crimson, and the lower band shifts to a quilted lattice holding an engraved illustration of a stadium fa\Uffffffffe. The palette stays disciplined throughout: oxblood, near-black navy and warm gold, with jewel-like accents catching light along every border. It is ornamental without being loud, more heirloom cabinet than sports graphic.

On a tumbler silhouette, that vertical hierarchy is an advantage. The emblem sits at the natural front-facing focal height, the typography stacks down the body, and the decorative lower band grounds the base.
