Design Story

The composition reads in three clear tiers. At the centre, a circular medallion holds a red serif B ringed in gold, the strongest tonal contrast on the whole surface and the natural focal panel. Beneath it, a framed cartouche reads BOSTON RED SOX in blackletter-adjacent lettering, keeping the eye moving downward. The base band shifts to navy with an engraved skyline and ballpark facade, plus FENWAY PARK and EST. 1901 in gold. Diamond motifs and vertical pinstripes act as visual rhythm, holding the negative space open so nothing crowds the crest. Navy lid and handle close the palette at both ends \Uffffffff cream, gold, navy, red, nothing extra.

On a tumbler, that vertical tiering matters: the medallion sits at eye level in the hand, the wordmark reads at arm's length, the skyline anchors the base.
