Design Story

The artwork is built as a vertical altarpiece. A banner reading HUFFLEPUFF crowns the panel, underlined by the measured cadence of LOYALTY, KINDNESS, DEDICATION. Beneath it, a badger sits in calm three-quarter profile, its striped head rendered in engraved gold against deep black. A crown, fleur-de-lis, laurel foliage and faceted amber accents frame the figure without crowding it, while a small crested shield marked H anchors the lower third. At the base, PATIENCE CREATES GREAT THINGS closes the vertical reading. The palette is limited to warm gold and near-black, so contrast alone carries the depth; the darkness functions as negative space, letting each gilded detail breathe.

Use & Experience

On a tumbler silhouette, the composition reads as a continuous wraparound relief. The banner sits near the lid line, the badger occupies the front-facing focal panel at eye level, and the motto grounds the base. The dark field around the handle keeps the graphic scale legible from a distance, giving real carry presence without visual noise.
