A wraparound composition built in relief: gold on deep bronze, every plane catching light differently. It reads less like a printed graphic and more like an engraved panel carried in the hand.

Design Story

The focal panel sits front and centre — a bearded, sunglassed master leaning on his staff, throwing a two-finger sign, calm rather than combative. Above him, arched lettering reads MASTER ROSHI; to the right, a vertical column of kanji anchors the composition and gives the eye a clean rhythm down the tumbler. A framed plaque carries GOOD DRINKS, GOOD TRAINING, GOOD LIFE, while the lower band steps down into island motifs, wave curls, a turtle emblem and TURTLE SCHOOL EST. 1984. The palette stays disciplined: amber, antique gold, ivory beard, a few red star accents. Warm tones on the lid and handle close the loop.

Use & Experience

Vertical proportion does the work here. The upper focal area stays readable at eye level, the lower band becomes texture, and the handle frames the composition without crowding it. On a desk or in hand, it carries like an accessory rather than a plain vessel — a bold graphic statement with restrained colour.
