Design Story

The eye enters at the cream cartouche and moves downward through a clear hierarchy \Uffffffff MIAMI in restrained capitals, HEAT in weighted crimson serif, then the flaming ball crest circled by its ring, framed by the split date 19 / 88 and two gold laurel branches. Below, in small type, BASKETBALL CLUB and ESTABLISHED 1988 close the arrangement like a footnote. Vertical crimson and ivory bands run the outer edges, tightening the panel and pushing attention inward. The background carries faint palm and court motifs in gold, quiet enough to read as texture rather than noise. Contrast does the work here: warm cream against deep near-black, with red used sparingly and deliberately.
