Design Story

The composition reads like fine jewelry translated into graphic form. A crimson script A sits at the exact center of an oval medallion, ringed by pave-style stones and the words ALABAMA and CRIMSON TIDE. Above it, arched CRIMSON lettering follows the taper of the silhouette; below, a banner reading CHAMPIONSHIP RING anchors the lower third above a gold football crest and laurel detailing. Elephant heads flank the medallion as symmetrical shoulders. The palette is disciplined: deep crimson, warm gold, cool white sparkle, with dark crosshatch panels doing the work of negative space so the focal medallion never competes with the border ornament.
